We are the marinara-muddled minds behind Happy Camper, Homeslice, and Paradise Park restaurants. Our brand is glued together by our company culture. Many of our employees have been with the company from the first installment of the brand, Homeslice, nine years ago and a common thread we share is paying a distinct amount of attention to detail in creating this atmosphere. Currently, we are looking for other team members who would like to grow their careers within the hospitality industry.

 Job Summary: 

The Security Guard is there to keep staff and guest safe. This is an hourly role with varying hours from 10am – 4am depending on season or day of the week.

 Dress Code: All black or a black shirt and dark jeans. Hats and shirts should be plain black or black with one of our logos. 

 Creative work environment. This place is packed with energy, creativity, and outbursts of hilarity. We also settle in and get a lot done in an open and collaborative, but focused environment.   

Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Checks IDs at the door. 
• Keep staff and guests safe.  
• Monitoring and defusing situations.  
• Bring up to manager as soon as possible when situation arises.  
• Aware of signs of over intoxication.  
• Aware of capacity and does capacity counts. 
• Dressed appropriately for outdoor weather, able to work outdoors for extended periods of time. 
• Door attendant is expected to be outside anytime temperature is 40 degrees or higher.
• Knowledgeable of steps of service for greeting guest with a pleasant and inviting demeanor. 
• Communicates with managers.  

Required Skills/Abilities:  

• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail. 
• Authoritative verbal communication skills. 
• Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations. 
• Ability to learn the layout of the property and buildings. 

Education and Experience: 

• Basset Certification 
• Security guard training certification preferred.   
• Previous experience a plus, but not required.  

Physical Requirements:  

• Ability to patrol the property and access areas quickly.
